Wet n Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette

Wet n Wild MegaGlo Contouring Palette is the new collection or I can say its the new version of their old contouring palette. Its $5-6, sometimes less than that, again depends where you got it from.

I am not into wet n wild products except their eyeshadow palette (comfort zone) which I adore. This Palette catches my attention for its size. Its not the obvious regular size for highlight/contour.

 Unfortunately its come in 2 shades only Dulce de leche and Caramel toffee.Above picture is the shade Caramel Toffee.

Dulce de leche is the lightest pinker tone and would be suitable for fair skin in my opinion and Caramel toffee is the darkest of these two. Both of them includes a highlighter and a contour shade.


Its smooth, silky, blendable however powdery. Carefully tap the access and blend blend blend. Won't expect to last 6-7 hours but for 3-4 hours it does the job. You can keep it in your purse for retouching may be.
Its my go to contour and highlight powder right now, if I use it very light handed. Especially I like the highlight powder better ,its almost like Ben Nye Banana Powder, but little lighter than that.

Maybelline Dream Velvet Soft-Matte Hydrating Foundation review

This the newest foundation from Maybelline & from its name you can tell how luxurious combination it could be . The price range is from $9.94-10.99 depends where you buy it from. It comes in 12 shades.

I picked up the wrong shade “Natural Beige” which is not even close by skin tone. I am testing it without primer & little powder as to see how long it takes to get “The shine”. ).

Claims:

Refreshing gel-whipped foundation leaves complexion perfected and smooth with a velvety, soft-matte finish while skin stays hydrated for 12 hours.

So, here's my thoughts below-

Pros:

-         feels really cool & velvety when applies with its airy-whipped formula

-         Medium buildable coverage

-         Super Pigmented

-         Oily skin people can get away with suitable primer & powder

Cons:

-         Color selection is poor for women of colors.

-         Cling on dry patches

-         Wouldn’t be stayed longer than 3 hours on oily/combination skin

-         Separating after few hours of wear

Best for: Normal, dry skin

Not for: Sensitive skin

I am super excited for this subscription & also its my 1^st time subscription with wal-mart as well. & as far as I know wal-mart only gives 4 times in a year following the 4 seasons.

The box includes mini samples including coupons.

Maybelline eye studio gel eyeliner

If you are looking for a replacement for your expensive gel liners, this is the one. Purchased in Blackest Black, this little gem stands up to pretty much any of those more expensive options.
Seriously, even on my greasy lids. This is my new go to liner for tight lining, wings, and even smokey smudging.

Pros:
-affordable
-has a long staying power,6 hours plus (considering the fact that i have super oily lids)
- does not smudge upon application
- comes with great brush
  

Cons:
-pricey for a drugstore eyeliner (although worth the price tag)
